Baader-Meinhof phenomenon (or complex)

The Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, or frequency illusion, is a cognitive bias where you notice something new or recently learned repeatedly, making it seem more common than it truly is, driven by your brain's selective attention (focusing on the new thing) and confirmation bias (seeking evidence to support that it's everywhere). It's not a supernatural occurrence but a trick of the mind, like buying a red car and suddenly seeing red cars everywhere, or learning a new word and then seeing it in books and conversations.
